aHa! Art Walk Update May 9, 2011
The upcoming aHa (Association of Housatonic Artists) Art Walk 2011, scheduled for Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21, is coming together!
Galleries and artists are signing up, but if you haven’t signed on yet, don’t delay. We’ll be starting the promotion and outreach in the next few days, and we can’t include your name in this effort until you’re on board.
The participating galleries and other spaces for special shows and events are all within easy walking distance one from another in the village of Housatonic (Great Barrington), MA.
We’re planning a number of special events fir this year’s aHa Art Walk, including a Group Show of Housatonic artists that will have two big venues—third floor of the Berkshire Pulse building, at 410 Park Street and second floor of 400 Park Street, the Berkshire Products mill—for what is likely to be a couple of dozen local artists. In addition, at 400 Park Street, there will be a special show, Studio Furniture Artists of the Berkshires and Mid-Hudson Region.
Other special events are in planning, so stay tuned.
